Compare by Segment
The "Compare by Segment" feature is a new addition in its first release. It allows users to view trends by comparing specific values within dimensions of their choice. This feature is designed to enable easy and effective trend analysis, helping to compare different segments in your data.
How it works:
- Create a report: Start by creating a new report.
- Define the dimension: Select the dimension you want to analyze and compare.
- Set metrics: Define the metrics that you want to view trends for.
- Apply filters: Filter for the specific values you want to compare, such as versions (e.g., Version A, Version B, Version C).
- Click on the "Compare" button above the data table.
- Select the domain: Choose the domain you want to analyze.
- Select the target value: For example, select the control version (e.g., Version Control).
- View results: Now, you will be able to see percentage changes and trends for the selected versions compared to the control version using the same target value.
Disclaimer:
After running the report and comparison, you can further filter the results in the table. The system will retain the comparison, allowing you to view the filtered data while keeping the initial comparison intact.
